A Newborn's Journey Through Generations: Capturing the Special Moments.

As a photographer, I’ve been privileged to capture some truly special moments in people’s lives. But every now and then, there’s a moment that hits differently, a moment that’s so deeply personal, it feels more like an honour than a job. That’s exactly how I felt when I photographed this beautiful girl taking her very first breath – a little angel who represents not just a new beginning, but also the continuation of a legacy of love and family.

It’s hard to put into words the emotions that surface when you see a child you once knew so well, now holding her own child in her arms. And just to add another layer of heartwarming sentiment, the baby's grandmother – someone I've known nearly as long – was there, too. It felt like everything had come full circle, and I was privileged enough to be the one to capture it. What made this so special for me was the personal connection I have with this family. I wasn’t just a photographer documenting the moment; I was a part of their story, witnessing the start of a new chapter. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to preserve such an intimate and powerful moment for them.
